Copy the provider’s local-time deadline and note the time zone, not just a date shown by a comparison site.

Mark a request as unresolved until the provider confirms the new itinerary, fee, refund or replacement vehicle in writing.

Choose keep, modify, cancel, replacement or verify, then write the fallback if the channel misses the deadline.

Rental reservation change and cancellation FAQs

Does this tool cancel or change my booking?

No. It only organises the deadline, request, provider answer, amount and evidence. Use the original booking channel to make the change and keep its confirmation.

Why record both a date and a deadline note?

A provider may use a local-time hour, time zone, rate tier or payment cut-off that a date alone hides. The note preserves the condition you must act on.

Is a requested change already confirmed?

No. Keep it unresolved until the provider confirms the new itinerary, price, vehicle and any protection or refund effect in writing.

Can a zero fee or zero refund be entered?

Yes, when the provider or booking terms confirm the amount is zero. Keep the condition and evidence; an empty field is not a confirmed zero.

Why are duplicate or conflicting records blocked?

Two records for the same booking and route must not silently produce two decisions. Identical records are duplicates; different deadlines, amounts, statuses or decisions require comparison.

Does the worksheet upload my booking or payment details?

No. The page runs locally in your browser and does not upload, save to a server, use localStorage or use sessionStorage. Avoid entering sensitive card or document numbers.
